Gomez is up for Best Actress/Television and 'The Voice' is vying for Best Variety or Reality Show at the upcoming awards show to be held on August 17.

AceShowbiz - The Imagen Foundation will continue its tradition to honor portrayals of Latinos and Latino cultures in television and film at its upcoming 28th annual Imagen Awards. The nominees have just been unveiled, putting "Castle", "Chicago Fire" and "Dallas" in one category, Best Primetime Television Program. Also nominated for the title are "Grey's Anatomy", "Private Practice" and "Switched at Birth".

Landing two nods in total, "Castle" leads series regular Jon Huertas to land among best TV actor nominees, competing with Benjamin Bratt of "Private Practice", Guillermo Diaz of "Scandal" and Danny Pino of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit".

"Chicago Fire" has its star Monica Raymund vying for best TV actress trophy. Selena Gomez, through her TV movie "The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex", gets nominated for the same title, also facing off against "Once Upon a Time" villain Lana Parrilla and Sonia Braga of "Meddling Mom".

"Dallas", which gets a total of three nominations, pits Jordana Brewster against her co-star Julie Gonzalo for Best Supporting Actress/Television prize. Kevin Alejandro of "Golden Boy" and "Chicago Fire" star Joe Minoso, meanwhile, are among the Best Supporting Actor/Television nominees.

In Variety or Reality Show category, "The Voice" will battle it out for the title against "Project Runway" and "Real Time with Bill Maher" among others.

In movie field, no studio pic is among the five nominees for Best Feature Film. One notable name, however, appears on the list, as Eva Mendes lands a nomination for Best Actress/Supporting Actress - Feature Film through her role in "The Place Beyond the Pines".

The winners of the 2013 Imagen Awards will be announced in a ceremony to be held August 17 at the Beverly Hilton. The show will air on PBS SoCal as an hourlong special on a later date.
