AceShowbiz - Previously unreleased photos from last year capturing "Basketball Wives" cast member Evelyn Lozada with a big gash on her forehead have now emerged. TMZ has obtained the photos taken after the reality TV star was rushed to the hospital after being attacked by then husband, former NFL player Chad Johnson a.k.a. Chad Ochocinco.
The photos, showing Lozada with a 3-inch laceration right in the middle of her forehead, were taken by Davie police inside a Florida emergency room on August 11, 2012. Meanwhile, Johnson was arrested for committing domestic violence on her wife, after just a little over a month from the time they got married. Ironically, within the same time period after their bloody altercation in their Jupiter, Florida mansion, the couple got divorced.
Despite what Broward County Circuit Judge Kathleen McHugh said were "horrific" injuries suffered by Lozada, Johnson was sentenced to just 12 months of probation after he pleaded no contest to the domestic violence charges filed against him, with the judge adding only another three months probation instead of jail time to his sentence for failing to meet with his probation officer for the past 3 months. However, a victory butt slap made by Johnson on his lawyer Adam Swickle changed Judge McHugh's mind and she instead ordered for Johnson to be jailed for 30 days.
After just one week in the slammer, Johnson has since been released and has apologized for his courtroom behavior.
