John Mayer Debuts 'Paper Doll' in Prancercised Lyric Video

Speculation arises whether the crooner's new single is about old flame Taylor Swift or on-and-off girlfriend Katy Perry.

AceShowbiz - Pop and blues rock musician John Mayer has just debuted a new single and he's making sure it gets some much deserved attention, unlike some other artists' new song that fans just dismiss right after the first listen. If not for the laidback tempo and intriguing lyrics of his new track "Paper Doll", people are sure to be talking about his new lyric video because of the visuals featuring advanced prancercise by its creator and current viral video sensation Joanna Rohrback.

"What about a prance to romance to," Rohrback asks in the introduction, cleverly coming up with the term "romancercise" in the process. As the song plays and as the lyrics appear onscreen, she begins her now famous prancercising routine, looking and moving like she just did on her original prancercise video that now has had more than 6 billion views on YouTube.

After the initial fascination of having a prancercise workout as the visuals for such a sweet ballad, a closer look at the lyrics somewhat point to Mayer's ex-flame Taylor Swift as the subject of the song. The mention of "22" and the word "red" which are both associated with Swift's current album are just some of the indicators.

However, it could just be about another break-up, like his more recent relationship with on-again-off-again girlfriend Katy Perry, who incidentally lately confessed to being "still madly in love" with the "Your Body Is a Wonderland" singer. She may have to wait though until Mayer completes his "Born and Raised" tour this October before they can get back together since it would definitely be tough on their relationship should one of them were to be away for quite some time while on tour.
