'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Star Jeff Garlin Arrested for Felony Vandalism

The Jeff Greene of the HBO series allegedly smashed the windows of another motorist's vehicle over a parking space.

AceShowbiz - Stand-up comedian Jeff Garlin was taken into custody on Saturday, June 15 in Studio City, Los Angeles for allegedly smashing the windows of another motorist's vehicle as they got involved in a dispute over a parking space. The 51-year-old actor was charged with felony vandalism and was imprisoned on a $20,000 bail set by the L.A. County Sheriff's Department. Garline was released after posting the bail the next morning.

According to L.A. police, the incident began as a verbal fight but went awry resulting in Garlin smashing the window of the other motorist's Mercedes. Neither Garlin himself nor his representative/publicist has responded to requests for comment.

Garlin is an experienced actor, among many other things, having starred on many different TV shows and movies but he is best known for his role as Larry David's manager, Jeff Greene, on the HBO series "Curb Your Enthusiasm". He serves as the show's co-executive producer apart from his being a co-star. He has likewise appeared on "Arrested Development", including in its newest season.

Before his defining role on "Curb Your Enthusiasm", Garlin began his career as a stand-up comedian, performing with the comedy troupe The Second City. On TV, he has guested on the hit comedy series "Everybody Loves Raymond" and popular variety-talk shows "Late Show with David Letterman" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", while in the movies, he co-starred with Eddie Murphy in the family comedy flick "Daddy Day Care".
