Sandra Bullock in Talks to Play Miss Hannigan in 'Annie'
Movie

The 'Blind Side' actress is in negotiations to join Quvenzhane Wallis and Jamie Foxx in the drama musical co-produced by Jay-Z.

AceShowbiz - Sandra Bullock could join the cast of "Annie", a new movie adaptation of the classic orphan girl of the same name. The Wrap reports the "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" actress is in talks to play Miss Hannigan, which was portrayed by Carol Burnett in the original 1982 movie.

If the deals are sealed, she will join "Beasts of the Southern Wild" star Quvenzhane Wallis, who tackles the titular character, and "Django Unchained" actor Jamie Foxx who plays NYC mayoral hopeful Benjamin Stacks, loosely based on the famous "Daddy" Warbucks character.

Set in a modern era, the drama musical is inspired by classic tale of a little girl named Annie who is taken by the rich Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks after running from an orphanage. Directed by Will Gluck, it has Will Smith, his wife Jada Pinkett Smith and rapper Jay-Z among the producers.

Bullock has at least two new movies on her plate, a cop comedy "The Heat" with Melissa McCarthy and sci-fi flick "Gravity" with George Clooney. "The Blind Side" actress is also set to voice one of the Minions in a spin-off/prequel to the 2010 hit animation "Despicable Me".
