News about Bieber's plan to go to space is revealed by Richard Branson, who writes on Twitter that the 'Baby' singer and his manager will be his company's 'future astronauts.'

AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber is going into space. The news is revealed by Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin Galactic that provides service to take people to memorable trips above the earth, in a tweet. "Great to hear @justinbieber & @scooterbraun are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts. Congrats, see you up there!" the British entrepreneur wrote on Wednesday, June 5.

Bieber retweeted the Twitter post to his 40 million followers later. According to Reuters, the 19-year-old pop star also wrote, "Let's shoot a music video in SPACE!!" in response to the tweet. Bieber's manager Scott Braun, who will join him in the space trip, replied in an excited-sounding tweet, "I'm going to space momma!"

To enjoy a few moments of zero gravity and a glimpse of earth from the space, Bieber, as well as other celebrities such as Ashton Kutcher, Sarah Brightman and Victoria Principal, reportedly must pay $250,000. In an auction charity held in Cannes recently, a Russian mogul Vasily Klyukin even paid $1.5 million for a space craft seat next to "The Great Gatsby" star Leonardo DiCaprio.

Virgin Galactic commercial space flights will start taking passengers to a trip above the earth next year. The company's latest space ship, SpaceShipTwo, underwent supersonic flight test in April. The rocket is currently under a careful scrutiny to prepare for its first flight with Branson's family, which is scheduled for the end of this year.
