The 'American Idol' alum unveils the clip of her new single on the same day she performs it live at the CMT Music Awards.

AceShowbiz - Country music star Carrie Underwood has premiered the music video for her new single "See You Again" on "Good Morning America" concurrently on Wednesday, June 5, the day she performed the song live at the CMT Music Awards that took place in Nashville. The 30-year-old singer sang it as a tribute to the victims of the tornado that recently hit her home state of Oklahoma.

Dressed immaculately in a white sleeveless dress on simple stage set-up of flowing white linen draped behind her, Underwood delivers the emotional song as raw footage of other people's major life events is shown. As she sings the hook, " 'Til I see you again/ This is not where it ends/ I will carry you with me/ Till I see you again," scenes of family and friends meeting up filled with hugs and kisses play out.

But the real essence of the song shines through in footage of soldiers saying farewell to their families with the hope of seeing their loved ones again, of tearful goodbyes to those who have passed on. In that same breath, it also carries a loving dedication to those who were tragically killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting late last year.

In light of the recent tornado disaster that had hit Oklahoma, Underwood dedicated "See You Again" as a somber memorial to the victims when she performed it with the Nashville Christ Church choir at the CMT Music Awards tonight. Prior to that, she had made a $1 million donation to the American Red Cross disaster relief fund.
