The 'Zero Dark Thirty' actress denies false reports which have included her name in the strong contenders for a coveted role in 'Rodham'.

AceShowbiz - Jessica Chastain is apparently not up for Hillary Clinton biopic as reported before. When interviewed at the recent Sound of Change concert, the Mrs. O'Brien depicter in Brad Pitt-starring "The Tree of Life" has made it clear that she's not one of several Hollywood actresses that are considered to lead "Rodham".

"No, that's actually not true," Chastain told reporters at the event in Surrey, London. The 36-year-old beauty, whose performance in 2011's "The Help" made her name rise to stardom, admitted that she had never heard any word of her being linked to the project at all, saying, "I found out about the project online, but, yeah, there's a lot of stuff out there."

The statement then leaves Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon and Amanda Seyfried among the frontrunners for the coveted role of young Hillary Rodham. However, it is not clear whether the three mentioned stars are indeed considered or not.

Whoever is interested in snatching the role, she will need to meet the standards that have been already set by director James Ponsoldt. "Regardless of people's political affiliation or how they feel about Hillary Clinton, you don't find people who question the quality of her intelligence or her drive," he said. "I want a wonderful actress who could embody that."

Based on Black List scribe Kim Young Il's script, "Rodham" is set to be released during the 2016 Presidential Election.
