Using footage from 'World War Z', the Matthew Bellamy-fronted band unveils a new clip specially-created for their hit track.

AceShowbiz - Following the red carpet premiere of the new apocalyptic horror film "World War Z" and the post-premiere concert by Muse, the English rock band now releases a specially-created music video of their single "Isolated System" using footage from the Brad Pitt starrer. The instrumental track, along with another song from the band's latest album "The 2nd Law", was used within the Marc Forster-directed movie.

Using previously unseen footage from the zombie apocalypse flick, the music video features the suspenseful tone-setting tune that blends perfectly with scenes of chaos and total mayhem. Even the film's lead actor Pitt deems the song "perfect" for the film.

"It's a really great fit. It's a real, like, thrill ride, total edge of your seat - got some real scary moments," the band's frontman Matthew Bellamy said in a recent interview. "I was thinking about this kind of insane survival situation - this real bleak kind of apocalyptic scenario - when I was making the album, which I tend to do anyway when I'm making albums," the vocalist revealed.

This is not the first time Muse's music has been used in a movie but Bellamy admits "World War Z" is "my favorite one" and "probably the biggest film we've ever done." "Right from the bat we knew this was a big thing because they kept contacting us when we were making the album (The 2nd Law) saying they wanted us to score the film," he gushes.
