The promo video features green smoke and a cryptic tagline, 'All Bad things must come to an end.'

AceShowbiz - To tide fans over the midseason premiere of "Breaking Bad" fifth and last season, AMC unleashes the first teaser for the final episodes. The promo video doesn't share any footage from the show, but features smoke on a green background and a man saying in voiceover, "All Bad things must come to an end."

The same cryptic tagline will appear Monday on billboards in New York and Los Angeles. The billboard doesn't even mention the show's title, but includes the show's logo which is the "Ba" symbol from the periodic table of the chemical elements, and the premiere date of the final episodes. The video teaser, meanwhile, will be released on air next week.

The final eight episodes of the crime drama series will begin airing Sunday, August 11 at 9 P.M. ET/PT on AMC. The cable channel has announced an accompanying half-hour talk show, "Talking Bad", that will air live following each new "Breaking Bad" episode.

Series creator Vince Gilligan dishes on the ending without spilling any details, "There's not much in the way of ambiguity with this ending." He promises, "People won't be left scratching their chins and saying, 'I wonder what's happening here.' It doesn't have to be happy or sad or anywhere in between. What mattered most to us was that the ending satisfy."

Of a possible spin-off centering on Bob Odenkirk's shady criminal lawyer Saul Goodman, he recently said, "Nothing's written in stone, but we are working away on it."
