The North Carolina MC teams up with the surviving members of the 90s girl group for the uplifting track.

AceShowbiz - German-born American hip-hop recording artist J. Cole collaborates with the remaining members of the ground-breaking '90s R'n'B/hip-hop girl trio TLC on the authenticity-themed track "Crooked Smile". The 28-year-old rapper enlists Tionne Watkins a.k.a. T-Boz and Rozonda Thomas a.k.a. Chilli for the hook of the second single off his forthcoming album "Born Sinner", due on June 18.

"Crooked Smile" is an uplifting track where J. Cole tells his female fans to appreciate their inner beauty and love themselves despite their imperfections. He tells them, "I feel for you / Killing yourself to find a man that'll kill for you / You wake up, put makeup on / Stare in the mirror but its clear that you can't face what's wrong / No need to fix what God already put his paint brush on."

He drives the message home by using even his own physical flaws to emphasize his point. Despite people telling him to "fix my grill cause I got money now" because "a perfect smile is more appealing," he's keeping his "twisted grill, just to show them kids it's real/ we ain't picture perfect but we worth the picture still."

J. Cole is set to embark on his "Dollar & a Dream" tour next week to promote "Born Sinner", which is going head-to-head with the release of Kanye West's "Yeezus" on June 18. A day ago, he appeared alongside Miguel at Hot 97's Summer Jam XX concert for a live performance of his first single "Power Trip".
