The 'Charmed' actress says the fact that the ABC series' filming was halted every two hours for 20 minutes to allow her to pump milk for her baby is 'lovely... and odd.'

AceShowbiz - Alyssa Milano juggled her roles as a mother and an actress when she filmed ABC's series "Mistresses". She just gave birth to her son Milo when the show started filming. Therefore, Milano took time between takes to take care of her baby on the filming set.
"Everyone had to be very patient with me when we filmed the pilot of the show because I was still breastfeeding. Every two hours they shut down production for 20 minutes and allowed me to pump, which was lovely... and odd," she told PEOPLE.
The plot of "Mistresses" revolves around the life of four female friends who get entangled in a complex relationship. The four women are played by Milano, Kim Yunjin of "Lost", Jes Macallan and Rochelle Aytes. "I love playing women that are flawed, and right from the pilot, she makes a decision that has some heavy consequences, so I knew that that exploration would be really challenging and fun to play," she told Us Weekly.
Milano said of her character, a married lawyer Savannah "Savi" Davis, on the series, "I look at Savi as being a really good person who makes a really bad decision and then sort of has to deal with the repercussions of that. It's not only the potential end of her marriage, but also her friendships. She becomes very alone."
"The biggest challenge was making her likable. In certain scenes, I actually chose to overcompensate and make her super likable because I felt that it was important," she said, as quoted by InsideTV. ABC's "Mistresses" premiered on Monday, June 3 at 10 P.M. (EST).
