Benicio Del Toro Added to 'Guardians of the Galaxy'
Movie

Rumor has it, the 'Sin City' actor is offered a multiple movie deal to possibly star in more than one Marvel movie.

AceShowbiz - Benicio Del Toro is the latest big star joining the cast of Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy". It's unclear what role will be tackled by the "Sin City" actor, but Deadline reports that he's playing a character built to be part of future Marvel films.

Rumor suggesting he might be offered a multiple movie deal prompts speculation that the 46-year-old father of one may portray Thanos to appear in the upcoming superhero film directed by James Gunn and later reprise the role in "The Avengers 2".

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" is already filing in with Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, and Michael Rooker as Zatoan-tribe Yondu. Lee Pace, Glenn Close, John C. Reilly and Karen Gillan are linked to the movie as well.

The star-studded film is expected to start production this summer in London for a scheduled August 1, 2014 release date.

Benicio del Toro is currently filming the "Lawless" and will next be seen tackling the titular character in "Jimmy Picard".
