'Divergent' Set Video: Chicago Street Crowded With Citizens From Five Factions
Movie

The video from the filming set of the Shailene Woodley starrer gives a closer look at how one faction is differentiated from others based on clothes.

AceShowbiz - A video taken from the filming location of Neil Burger's upcoming film "Divergent" has surfaced online, thanks to Page to Premiere. Unlike previous teaser images which have featured leading girl Shailene Woodley in such terrifying moments of her life as Tris, the clip does not see her presence at all as it focuses more on members of five factions.

As previewed in it, young girls and boys gather on W Adams St and Franklin St near Willis Tower with different colors of clothes to determine which family they belong to. Tris' faction, Dauntless, is recognizable as the members are spotted with their black clothes, tattoos, piercings and unusual hair colors, unleashing their rebel vibes.

Symbols of each faction on entrance gates are also teased in it. Blazing fire of the Dauntless represents bravery, as emphasized by the group's credo which says, "We believe in freedom from fear, in ordinary acts of bravery, in defending those who cannot defend themselves."

"Divergent" takes place in a near-future Chicago. The story is set in a dystopian future where society is divided up into five factions based on their personalities, with their jobs, friends, likes, dislikes, and their spouses all selected based on their type. Learning that she doesn't belong in any of them, Tris discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents and tries to find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it's too late.

Besides Woodley, the film adaptation of Veronica Roth's novel stars Award-winning Kate Winslet. It is set to be released nationwide on March 21, 2014.
