The Massachusetts-based boyband joins Aerosmith and Jason Aldean at The Boston Strong Concert on Thursday, May 30, to lend their voice to help the victims of Boston marathon bombings.

AceShowbiz - Massachusetts artists, including New Kids On The Block, Aerosmith, Extreme and J. Geils Band, rocked the stage at The Boston Strong Concert at TD Garden on Thursday night, May 30. Proceed from the ticket sales was expected to be donated to the victims of Boston Marathon bombing.

The concert kicked off with rock band Boston playing U.S. national anthem. The band then went on with its other songs including, "More Than a Feeling". "Tonight, we are all Boston," lead singer Tommy DeCarlo told the crowd.

Donning Bruins jerseys, the members of New Kids On The Block energetically led the crowd to sing their songs. NKOTB's Joey McIntyre later took the microphone and recalled that he almost fell victim to the bombing. He said, "I finished 3:57, 10 minutes before it happened, but I don't care where you were that day -it happened to all of us that day."

Fellow band member Donnie Wahlberg also talked to the crowd and told them, "You deserve the credit. Anyone can celebrate in times of glory... but when something unspeakable happens, that's not just when cities come together but it is when families come together. We are not just one of the greatest cities on earth, we are one of the greatest families on this planet."

Boyz II Men made their surprise appearance. Together with NKOTB, the group then delivered a touching performance of "One Sweet Day".

Clad in a cowboy hat, country singer Jason Aldean drove some female fans crazy. Although Aldean was not a Massachusetts-native, he said that he was a huge fan of Boston Red Sox.

The concert organizers didn't reveal how much money the concert made, but they said that the money would go to The One Fund, a fund-raising organization which was established by Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick

Boston Marathon bombing happened last April 15. The bomb killed 3 people and injured hundreds, some of which lost their legs and arms. Suspect Dzokhar Tsarnaev is currently held in jail, while another suspect, Tamerlan Tsarnaev died in a gunfight with officials.
