The Pistol Annies member sheds tears as she sings 'The House That Built Me' at the Oklahoma benefit event.

AceShowbiz - Singing in husband Blake Shelton's "Healing in the Heartland" benefit concert at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City on Wednesday night, May 29, Miranda Lambert broke into tears as she sang her hit song "The House That Built Me". The country music songstress tried to hold back her emotions as she performed to raise funds for the victims of the tornado that hit Moore, Oklahoma two weeks ago.
Lambert got choked up as she mouthed the words, "Mama cut out pictures of houses...," and just pointed the microphone towards the audience to have them fill in for her momentarily as she tried to regain her composure. The verse about a family's dream house and how they tried to build it from scratch triggered the tears to flow for the Pistol Annies member. As she got around to finishing the song, the "Nashville Star" finalist said "sorry" to the crowd, ending her performance with a heartwarming "I love you Oklahoma."
Lambert joined other top country music acts Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, and Luke Bryan, who all came to support Shelton, who organized the event to help his home state and those affected by the recent natural disaster. Shelton also had the backing of his fellow "The Voice" coach Usher, as well as Darius Rucker of Hootie & The Blowfish and Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic.
In another performance in the benefit concert, Oklahoma's own Vince Gill dedicated his rendition of "Threaten Me With Heaven" to the 24 people who were killed by the tornado, including ten children, two of whom were infants.
