Disney will sell tickets for the film's world premiere for $1000, saying all revenues will directly go to the American Indian College Fund.

AceShowbiz - Fans need to dig deep into their pockets if they desperately want to attend the world premiere of "The Lone Ranger" on June 22 at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim. The studio has announced that ticket sales for the event are available for purchase $1000 each. All revenues collected will be donated to the American Indian College Fund.
"We've had a terrific collaboration with the Native American community throughout the production of Disney's 'The Lone Ranger'," said Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn in a statement. The money earned from the sales will help provide scholarships to Native American students.
According to the press release, fans will be able to directly meet not only Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp, but also "filmmakers and many Hollywood celebrities in attendance." Horse Silver, which Hammer rides in the film, will be featured along with a train engine specially built for the action-packed pic.
Directed by Gore Verbinski, "The Lone Ranger" introduces Depp as an American Indian spirit warrior named Tonto, who recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice. The two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.
Also supported by Helena Bonham Carter as Red Harrington, the Western-set film is ready to hit U.S. theaters on July 3.
