Radcliffe is not eager to reprise his role as the iconic wizard boy should there be sequels, but says that a cameo as Harry's dad is 'perfect.'

AceShowbiz - Should there really be a "Harry Potter" sequel in the future, Daniel Radcliffe has already alerted fans that he will not be back as their favorite wizard boy. Sitting down with Time Out magazine, the 23-year-old heartthrob has revealed that his days of portraying Harry Potter are over. "No more schoolboy stuff. A cameo as Harry's dad? That would be perfect!" he said enthusiastically.

Radcliffe also admitted that he would love to raise children one day. "I definitely want to have kids," the English teen told the mag. "I've grown up around lots of people who were having kids when I knew them, because a lot of them were a lot older than me. And I saw the wonderful change in them."

Asked what kind of parenting style he opted for, Radcliffe answered, "I'm definitely going to be one of those parents who pushes their kids into things. I like the idea of being a youngish parent."

The role of Harry Potter was snatched by Radcliffe when he was only an eleven-year-old kid. "This is what I want. This is Harry Potter," so director Chris Columbus thought to himself when he saw a video of the actor in "David Copperfield".

The young actor then teamed up with then-newbies Emma Watson and Rupert Grint to bring J.K. Rowling's first novel "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" to life.
