The 'Because of You' singer has sent save-the-date cards to her friends and family members, in which she announces that she is marrying her fiance on October 20.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock are going to get married this fall. A copy of save-the-date card which was obtained by Radar Online shows that the couple will exchange vows in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 20.

The card reads, "Bookmark the date for the wedding of Kelly and Brandon." The date and place of the wedding reception are included in the card as well. "Formal invitation to follow," is written at the end of the card.

Brandon, who is the son of Clarkson's manager Narvel Blackstock and country music legend Reba McEntire's stepson, has been dating the Grammy-winning singer for a year before getting engaged. The "People Like Us" singer announced her engagement via Twitter last December, writing, "I'M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever."

Kelly, however, was nervous about her upcoming nuptials. "We're just kind of overwhelmed with the planning of the wedding. We're actually thinking fall this year and we're thinking outside. We're trying to make it small, but it is hard. I literally had a breakdown two weeks ago about the wedding list. I'm terrified of everyone watching me walk down the aisle," she told California radio K-Frog in January.

"The Voice" judge Blake Shelton, who contributed to the couple's engagement, will officiate their wedding. The "American Idol" winner told Entertainment Tonight last month, "He's not only singing, he's marrying us. He totally is, he's done it before with people."
