Henry Cavill in Talks to Be 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.'
Movie

The Superman depicter in 'Man of Steel' is expected to replace Tom Cruise, who dropped out of the Guy Ritchie project to focus on 'Mission: Impossible V'.

AceShowbiz - The Superman of "Man of Steel" might land a role as a spy in Guy Ritchie's upcoming project. Hollywood heartthrob Henry Cavill is in negotiations to take the vacant role left by Tom Cruise last week due to his commitment to "Mission: Impossible V". Cavill will act opposite Armie Hammer of "The Lone Ranger" if he agrees to be on board.

The action film tells the spy adventures of American agent Napoleon Solo and Soviet agent Illya Kuryakin. Cavill is expected to take on the role of Solo with Hammer already attached to portray the Russian spy Kuryakin. Swedish actress Alicia Vikander, meanwhile, is in talks to be the female lead.

Cavill has recently been linked to "Fifty Shades of Grey", an adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel. However, he has denied the rumor of him portraying Christian Grey during a press conference. "Put it this way, I've not read a script, spoken to a producer or a director," said the love of "Fast and Furious 6" star Gina Carano.

"Not exactly chaste writing, is it. I've always preferred the implied sex scene anyway, because having it spelled out always seems a bit tacky. Sex is so readily available to us in every form of media now, so it's no longer that exciting on screen."
