The latest installment in the 'Fast and Furious' film series earns the fourth-highest Memorial Day opening all time.

AceShowbiz - "Fast and Furious 6" remains unmoved at the North American box office. Over the four-day weekend, the high-octane film starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Luke Evans earns $117 million, considered the fourth-biggest Memorial Day opening in history after 2006's "X-Men: The Last Stand" with $122.9 million.

Trailing behind the Justin Lin-directed flick is "The Hangover Part III". The last film in the Wolfpack film franchise, featuring Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms, still takes the second place in the chart by taking in $50.3 million.

Another new release "Epic", a Beyonce Knowles-starring animation with an "A" from CinemaScore, exceeds all expectations by sitting at No. 4 with $42.8 million for four-day tally. As for Chris Pine and Benedict Cumberbatch's "Star Trek Into Darkness", it ranks third with $47.2 million.

"Iron Man 3" still manages to be at No. 5 in its fourth week. The action-packed film from Marvel has earned $19.2 million for three-day and $24.7 million including Monday.

"The Croods" and "42", however, *swap their places after their four-day results come out. The Dreamworks animation now ranks eighth with $1.6 million while the Jackie Robinson biopic plunges to No. 9 with a slight difference, $1.7 million.
