AceShowbiz - A first trailer for David Lowery's "Ain't Them Bodies Saints" is filled with many intense and dramatic scenes. Featuring Casey Affleck and Rooney Mara as a husband and a wife, the video captures the hardship both suffer as one particular life-changing moment sets them apart. "All you have to do is wait for me," Affleck tells Mara.

The indie film is set against the backdrop of 1970's Texas Hill Country. The romantic American story centers on an outlaw named Bob Muldoon who takes the responsibility for his wife's mistake. Escaping from prison, Muldoon sets out across the Texas hills to reunite with her and their daughter that he has never met.

"Ain't Them Bodies Saints" first premiered at 2013 Sundance Film Festival, snatching the Cinematography Award in the U.S. Dramatic Category and got nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. IFC Films acquired the U.S. rights for the film, penned and directed by Lowery, for $1 million.

Affleck and Mara are joined by Ben Foster, who takes on the role of a local sheriff named Patrick Wheeler. Nate Parker, Keith Carradine, Rami Malek and Charles Baker, meanwhile, are on board for supporting roles.

The film is set for an August 16 release in limited theaters in the United States.
