The all-star benefit concert is taking shape and going into full gear for the Oklahoma tornado victims.

AceShowbiz - As he promised yesterday, Blake Shelton revealed today the details of his all-star benefit concert for the victims of the devastating tornado that hit Moore, Oklahoma earlier this week. Dubbed "Healing the Heartland", the televised concert will take place this coming Wednesday, May 29 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
Broadcasting the benefit concert will be NBC, which airs "The Voice", where Shelton serves as one of four mentors. The celebrity performers joining the line-up will be revealed on Friday but as early as now, people are expecting to see Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert of country music act Pistol Annies, as well as Usher, Adam Levine and Shakira who are expected to lend much needed support to their fellow "Voice" mentor.
Ada, Oklahoma-born Shelton is hoping to raise money to help those badly hit by the tornado recover from the disaster that left the neighboring city of Moore in ruins. The 36-year-old country music crooner and TV personality is one of many celebrities who have stepped up to put fundraising efforts into motion.
"American Idol" season three grand winner Carrie Underwood, who was born and raised in Oklahoma, made a $1 million donation to the American Red Cross disaster relief fund. Meanwhile, country music singer/songwriter Toby Keith, who is a native of Moore, flew in from Nashville to return to his hometown and encourage donations to both the Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
