Titled 'Ooh La La', Brit's 'Smurftastic' contribution to the 2011 hit flick sequel debuts after the snippet of the song leaked online.

AceShowbiz - When pop superstar Britney Spears announced a month ago that the new song she recorded for the soundtrack of "The Smurfs 2" would be coming out soon, she did not mention any specific release date. The track made its surprising debut today, after a snippet of the new song started to leak online Thursday, prompting the release of the much-anticipated single from the pop icon.

Spears' "Smurftastic" new single, which arrived in full following the low-quality snippet, is a mastered version of the Dr. Luke-written and produced work. Sounding like a club banger and a kiddie tune rolled into one, the electro-pop dance track will be played during the end credits of the new movie.

Apart from her involvement in the "Smurfs 2" compilation, Spears is getting ready to work on her forthcoming eighth studio album, which she will start recording next week with her "Scream & Shout" collaborator will.i.am. She is also said to be preparing for her Las Vegas residency which is finally pushing through after months of negotiations between Spears' management team and Caesar's Entertainment Group.

Directed by Raja Gosnell, the sequel to the 2011 hit live-action/animation hybrid flick features Katy Perry as the voice of Smurfette. Hitting theatres on July 31, "Smurfs 2" stars returning cast members Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays, Sofia Vergara, and Hank Azaria as the story's villain Gargamel.
