The hip-hop/R'n'B artist unveils the X-directed music video for the title track of his upcoming fifth album.

AceShowbiz - A week after releasing the trap-inspired, bass-heavy jam "High Art" featuring Jay-Z, The-Dream now premieres the music video for title track from his forthcoming fifth album "IV Play". Besides Jay-Z, the 35-year-old songwriter's new album features an all-star line-up of collaborators that includes Beyonce Knowles, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Rowland, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Pusha T, and more.
In the X-directed four-and-a-half-minute-long clip, The-Dream steps out of a helicopter in his black fur coat and walks onto an architectural building with a sexy lady in tow. As the video progresses, more and more scantily-clad women show up to tease the platinum hitmaker as he watches from inside his white Mercedes SL.
The-Dream's new track is a slow, bass-heavy jam that features his airy, breathy, almost whispering vocals. Being the title track, it aptly represents the overall grown-up, sexy theme of the album, mostly dominated by songs about hooking up and making out like "Fire" with Beyonce and "High Art" with Jay-Z but also features a few songs about relationships such as the piano-driven, almost-break-up anthem "Where Have You Been" with Kelly and the inspiring, orchestral track "Divine" with Mary J. Blige.
" 'IV Play' is me jumping into the future and trying to leave the past behind," The-Dream said about his new record. "This album probably maintains about 25 percent of the fabric of what I've done musically, but the rest of it, I've really opened it up."
