The line-up for the network's upcoming TV season reveals some big moves, including the new slots for 'Revolution', 'Chicago Fire' and 'Parks and Recreation'.
- May 13, 2013
AceShowbiz - NBC has become the first network to release its full line-up for 2013-2014 TV season. After canceling a bunch of low-rated shows and ordering a slew of freshmen, this time the network makes a big move by shifting the slots of some of its strong performers.
"Revolution" is moved from Mondays to Wednesdays at 8 P.M., giving away the post-"The Voice" slot to newbie "The Blacklist". "Chicago Fire" will also take advantage from its lead-in "The Voice" on Tuesdays at 10 P.M. after airing on Wednesdays in its first season.
"Parenthood" will be included in NBC's Thursday comedy block, occupying the 10 P.M. slot, with "Parks and Recreation" opening the night at 8 P.M. this fall. New comedies "Welcome to the Family", "Sean Saves the World" and "The Michael J. Fox Show" join the Thursday line-up, while "Community" is expected to return in midseason.
The Peacock also doesn't waste time to give first looks at some of its new shows, "The Blacklist", "Ironside", "Welcome to the Family", "Sean Saves the World" and "The Michael J. Fox Show", through videos as well as "Dracula" in pictures. "About a Boy" and "The Family Guide", meanwhile, will premiere in midseason along with "Crossbones", "Believe" and "Crisis".
