New cast like Rutger Hauer, Rob Kazinsky and Jurnee Smollett-Bell are featured in some of the images before the show is back on screen this summer.

AceShowbiz - A slew of stills from the upcoming sixth season of "True Blood" have just arrived as the HBO vampire series is getting closer to the premiere day. Some of the new characters that will make their debut on the show are previewed on the images.
Among others are Rutger Hauer, Rob Kazinsky and Jurnee Smollett-Bell. Hauer will play a sinister guy who has mysterious ties to Sookie and Jason, Kazinsky will portray a new Fae love interest to Sookie, and Smollett-Bell will be a do-gooder Nicole.
Aside from giving a glimpse at the new cast, the photos also feature familiar faces like Anna Paquin (telepathic barmaid Sookie), Stephen Moyer (vampire king Bill), Joe Manganiello (werewolf Alcide) and Alexander Skarsgard (vampire sheriff of Area 5).
"True Blood" season 6 will premiere Sunday, June 16 at 9 P.M. on HBO. The first episode is directed by Moyer, who is also the real-life husband of Paquin.
