Also not returning for 2013-14 season are 'Guys With Kids' and 'Deception', while two new dramas and three comedies will be added to the network's line-up.

AceShowbiz - Prior to its Monday's upfront presentation, NBC has revealed the fate of some of its shows. "Parks and Recreation" receives the good news that it has been renewed for a sixth season, while five other shows are not that lucky.

The network has decided to cancel sophomore comedies "Up All Night" and "Whitney". Cancellation notices have also gone out to rookies "1600 Penn", "Guys With Kids" and "Deception".

To fill the vacant slots, the Peacock has ordered new shows for the upcoming 2013-14 TV season. Dramas "Believe", from executive producers Alfonso Cuaron, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk, and "Crisis" starring Gillian Anderson and Dermot Mulroney, have just been picked up to series.

Also getting the greenlight are comedies "About a Boy", which is adapted from the book and subsequent 2002 film starring Hugh Grant and Nicholas Hoult, "Sean Saves the World" starring "Will & Grace" alum Sean Hayes, and "The Family Guide" which has Jason Bateman as one of its executive producers.

These five shows join the previously-ordered "The Michael J. Fox Show" and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers' starrer "Dracula".
