Jennifer Lopez Debuts 'Live It Up' Featuring Pitbull

May 9, 2013, 4:12 am GMT

Jenny From the Block releases her new single, set to be the lead track off her forthcoming tenth album due later this year.

A few days after shooting its music video in Fort Lauderdale Beach in Florida, Jennifer Lopez releases her new single "Live It Up", the first single on her next album which she's currently busy working on with Chris Brown. The 43-year-old entertainer teams up anew with Miami pop rapper Pitbull, after two successful collaborations, "On the Floor" back in 2011 and "Dance Again" just last year, making "Live It Up" their third "annual" track together.

With the new four-minute up-tempo track, Lopez drops another potential dance floor mega hit, a lively Red-One production that features Pitbull's bilingual rhyming skills delivered over a high-energy electro-beat. While Mr. 305 preaches, "Make love. Don't fight. Let's f*** tonight," J.Lo declares. "We can do anything we want / live it up / we ain't stopping 'till we're done / live it up."

The lyric video makes for a fitting preview of the forthcoming music video, with all the tropical shots and colorful images shown in quick succession to go along with the fast beat of the new song. Soon enough, fans will get to see J.Lo in her usual well-toned glory and Pitbull in his signature suit outfit with matching shades fit for the beach setting for the new music video they've shot with a bunch of sexy models most notable of which was "America's Next Top Model" alum Eva Marcille.

Lopez is expected to perform the new single when she appears on the 2013 Billboard Music Awards on May 19 and likewise on the "American Idol" season twelve finale when she returns to the show as a musical guest in a couple of weeks from now.
