After photos of Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson confronting a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent have popped online, fans now can get to see photos of another star jumping into action on the set of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". This time, the new pictures feature Anthony MacKie as Sam Wilson a.k.a. Falcon.

MacKie is seen sporting a military outfit for his portrayal of the African-American hero, who has telepathic powers. The 34-year-old actor is seen filming a scene which requires him to fire his two guns. However, the "Gangster Squad" actor does not have any wings, which is one of Falcon's trademarks, attached to his outfit.

During "Pain and Gain" promotional tour, MacKie expressed his excitement about playing Falcon in the Marvel film. "He's the first African-American superhero. It makes me feel all the work I've done has been paying off," he said. "I have a son, nephews, and nieces, and I love the idea that they can dress up as the Falcon on Halloween. They now have someone they can idolize. That's a huge honor for me."

Penned by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, "Winter Soldier" sees Steve Rogers struggling to embrace his role in the modern world and teaming up with Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a. Black Widow to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.

Also starring Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, the film is set for an April 4, 2014 release in the United States.
