The 'King's Speech' actor and the 'Amazing Spider-Man' actress team up in Woody Allen's upcoming comedy, which is set in France.

AceShowbiz - Director Woody Allen has chosen two Hollywood stars to be featured in his upcoming comedy. Emma Stone, who previously starred in "Easy A" and "Crazy, Stupid, Love.", is confirmed to be the leading actress in an untitled Woody Allen project. Stone is joined by British star Colin Firth, who is best known for his acting in "The King's Speech".

Allen remains silent about plot, title and everything related to his latest project. The only revelation about the pic is that the 77-year-old filmmaker, who was described as "a treasure of the cinema" by the late critic Roger Ebert, will take his stars and crew all the way to the South of France.

Allen's longtime partners Letty Aronson and Stephen Tenenbaum are on board the project to serve as the producers. The Gravier Productions film will reunite Allen with several "To Rome with Love" crew members, including cinematographer Darius Khondji, production designer Anne Seibel and costume designer Sonia Grande.

The upcoming comedy marks the second time Allen shoots his film in France. Previously, he flew to the country to film "Midnight in Paris", which starred Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams and Marion Cotillard.

Additionally, the film will be the eighth pic of Allen that is set in Europe. His previous Europe-set films include "To Rome with Love", "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" and "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger", which was shot in London.

The film's release date has not been announced yet.
