The web giant will launch new comedies and lifestyle shows, and announces a partnership with the WWE.

AceShowbiz - Yahoo! is going full throttle to bring original programming. During Digital NewFronts, a series of upfront-style presentations by leading digital media companies, on Monday, April 29, it announced a number of new comedies and lifestyle shows.

Among those lined up to come out in the fall is "Tiny Commando", an action-packed series created by Ed Helms. Also starring Zachary Levi and Gillian Jacobs, the show follows a four-inch-tall private investigator who uses his fleet of miniature vehicles to fight crime.

John Stamos, meanwhile, is set to star on "Losing Your Virginity With John Stamos". On the show produced by Morgan Spurlock and Stamos, the actor will interview celebrities about their first intimate encounters.

Another show, "We Need Help", stars Cheryl Hines and Rachael Harris as actresses who exploit their shared personal assistant.

Meanwhile, the new lifetime shows include "Cinema & Spice", in which Julianna Strickland and Natasha Feldman explore food and film, "Fashion Recipe" featuring celebrity stylist Brett Alan Nelson, and "Grill Girls", in which chef Megan Mitchell shares her grilling secrets and tips.

Yahoo! also announced a partnership with the WWE to create a hub for wrestling. Under the deal, the web portal will host a 30-minute pre-show before "Monday Night Raw" and two weekly series of original WWE programming, as well as offer original online content and access to WWE archives.

Additionally, it has extended its partnership with ABC News, with "Nightline", "World News With Diane Sawyer" and "Good Morning America" set come to Yahoo! in daily, digital-native extensions.

Yahoo!'s new chief executive Marissa Meyer opened the Monday's presentation. "Tonight is about three things: innovation, premium content and advertising performance," she said. The event was wrapped up with a performance by The Lumineers.

Earlier this month, Yahoo! nabbed exclusive rights to keep 38 years worth of clips from "Saturday Night Live". Through the deal, the web giant will become the only online home for the NBC show for a year, starting September 1.
