'All-Star Celebrity Apprentice' Recap: 'Insane' Gary Busey Brings His Team Down
TV

Busey doesn't even want to hear Penn Jillette's and Lisa Rinna's ideas for their ad for LG electronics, and fails to impress the LG executive with his mechanical dog.

AceShowbiz - Gary Busey's wayward action has cost his own spot on "The Celebrity Apprentice". The actor's madness went way out of control in the April 28 episode of the show, as he led Team Plan B to create a commercial for LG's new high-tech products. Team Power, now consisting of Lil Jon, Trace Adkins and Marilu Henner, was led by Jon.

While all appeared to be amused by LG's innovative products, Busey, who declared himself a technophile, couldn't comprehend it when the LG staff explained the products. "This LG phone is like going to another planet without instructions," he commented.

After a brief explanation about the LG stuff, both teams began working on their own ads. Team Plan B was off to a rocky start as Busey refused to even hear Penn Jillette's or Lisa Rinna's ideas. He insisted on his own plan to feature him as a man who needs an LG smartphone to keep him from transforming into a barking mechanical dog. "Gary is bats**t crazy. End of story!" Rinna couldn't help blasting their project manager.

On Team Power, they agreed on a concept without much drama. They would feature a mom who impresses her son and his friend with her knowledge and use of the new LG products, but Jon, who directed the video, was too worried about details. Stopping by to give advice, former "Celebrity Apprentice" winner Joan Rivers said, "Lil Jon, you're not Alfred Hitchcock."

Neither of the finished videos, however, impressed the LG executive. After saying that it was no contest, Donald Trump announced Team Power as the winner. Busey, having been ganged up on by his team mates, had to defend himself in the Boardroom.

"You guys are against me. I'm telling the truth," Busey claimed. Jillette fought back, saying, "I never got to finish one of the ideas I had and Lisa never got to start." Trump, already making a decision, said that the LG executive didn't like Busey's mechanical dog and told him, "Gary, you're fired!"
