'How many more people have to suffer to keep my identity a secret?' the serial killer asks as he realizes that his dark secret has ruined Deb.

AceShowbiz - Showtime has dropped two new promos of "Dexter" season 8, hinting that even the cold-blooded serial killer has regrets. Narrated by the title character, one of the teasers titled "Killer or Innocent Victim" highlights that Dexter regrets his darkness has touched Deb, the one he tried to protect, and turned her into she is now.

Another promo called "Behind a Mask" focuses on Dexter himself who contemplates his future as his dark secret has begun unraveled. "Can this charade go on forever? Or I will finally hit a dead end?" he asks while the video shows him wrapped in clear plastic tarpaulin, like he usually did to his victims.

The eighth and final season of "Dexter" will premiere Sunday, June 30, at 9 P.M. on Showtime. "24" villain Julian Sands has been cast as a wealthy international businessman named Miles Foster, while Yvonne Strahovski, who appeared in multiple episodes of season 7, will reprise her role as Hannah McKay.
