The heavy metal band expands their initially four date short tour in support of their forthcoming album, '13'.

AceShowbiz - After initially announcing only four dates in their forthcoming North American tour, metal rock band Black Sabbath has now increased their itinerary to a full 20 show summer tour. The music icons have added 16 more tour dates to their previously announced performances in Toronto, Seattle, Los Angeles and Holmdel, New Jersey.

The Ozzy Osbourne-fronted band will kick off their trek across the U.S. and Canada on July 25 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, Texas, moving through 20 different cities in Florida, Virginia, Michigan, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Illinois, Indiana, Washington, Arizona, and Nevada. They will also play Toronto and Vancouver in Canada within their 20-date schedule before finally rounding-up their tour on September 3 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena in California.

The heavy metal trio has thus far taken their 2013 tour in New Zealand and Australia, where they are currently performing, dishing out new tracks from new album "13" due for release on June 11. Guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler will also be heading to the Asian city of Tokyo with lead singer Osbourne, supporting him for the inaugural Ozzfest in Japan on May 12.

"13" marks the 19th overall full-length studio album for the legendary band and their first Osbourne-fronted album in 35 years since their 1978 recording of "Never Say Die". Among the cuts in the highly-anticipated new album are the recently-released "God Is Dead?" and the soon to unveiled "End of the Beginning" which will make its debut on the May 15 season finale of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation".
