Debuted via Yahoo! Movies, a new trailer for Walt Disney Pictures' upcoming film "Monsters University" gives an extended look at the college life Mike and Sulley experience. In the video, the two student monsters, who happen to be roommates, find a way to figure out who is the best scarer at Monsters U.

Majoring in scaring, Mike is introduced to a competition called Scare Games where all student monsters compete for pride and glory. Once he enters the contest, he has to be fully aware of the consequences as he is warned, "You could die." Despite the high stake, Mike still decides to go for it as the video finds him and Sulley in the competition.

The prequel to 2001's "Monsters, Inc." follows Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan who are an inseparable pair, though that wasn't always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn't stand each other. This new film unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.

Directed by Dan Scanlon, the film features Steve Buscemi, Billy Crystal, John Goodman, John Ratzenberger, Frank Oz, Dave Foley and Joel Murray in the voice cast. Kori Rae serves as the producer of the film, which is slated to hit U.S. theaters on June 21.
