When Pittsburgh rapper tweeted on April 22 that he'd been "killing myself with anticipation," fans would understand why he released his new single "S.D.S. (Somebody Do Something)" just less than 24 hours ahead of its scheduled due date. The 21-year-old artist obviously could not wait anymore to share the first single off his second studio album "" which he first talked about half a year ago and apparently something that he had been working on for much longer, specifically "9 long a** months," according to his tweet.

The three-minute-plus Flying Lotus-produced track showcases Miller's impeccable rhyming skills as he raps, "Close my eyes before I cross the street/ A car about to hit me then he oughta beep/ Watchin' 'Dawson's Creek' until I fall asleep/ It's harder than it seems, I'm underwater in my dreams."

"I've been working harder on this album than any project I have ever been a part of," the young rap star revealed. "This is by far the most time I have spent on an album the album has gone thru so much. I only wish u were here to witness this process. But maybe its better u just get the finished product."

"Watching Movies with the Sound Off" is Miller's follow-up to his No. 1 debut album "" released back in 2011. Prior to releasing his sophomore LP, he had his "Macadelic" mixtape and a jazz-inlfuenced five-song EP entitled "You". In between doing his music, he also squeezed in his own MTV2 show "Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family".
