The pop superstar is halfway into her third album which will also feature Sia, Max Martin and Greg Wells.

AceShowbiz - Katy Perry has reunited with mega record producer Dr. Luke for her follow-up to her 2010 album "Teenage Dream". The 28-year-old entertainer revealed this yesterday during her appearance at the ASCAP I Create Music Expo, adding that she's halfway finished with her forthcoming new album.

"When I put myself on a timeline, when I tell the record company when I want to release the album, that's when the race starts. That's when I put pressure on myself," Perry said about her studio album-making process. Her upcoming LP is expected to churn out new hits especially since Dr. Luke gave Perry some of her biggest chart-toppers such as "Teenage Dream", "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)", "E.T.", "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot 'N Cold".

Perry has also signed-up prolific songwriters, Max Martin, Greg Wells, Sia Furler and "California Gurls" collaborator Bonnie McKee for her new project. Perry disclosed, "[Wells] allows me to vomit words. Max and Luke push me the most. As a team we have certain strengths. With Max, it's melody choices, Luke is production and I'm topline and melody."

Although Perry talked about a new song "Double Rainbow", she still raved about "Firework", calling it the most important song she has ever written thus far. She further recounts a performance of the song back in October for a fan with autism, saying it's "the most important performance of my career so far."
