AceShowbiz - Walt Disney Pictures has unleashed the final trailer for "The Lone Ranger" a few months leading to the film's release date. It opens with a backstory of Armie Hammer's John Reid, who returns from a big city to the West to serve as a Texas Ranger with his brother. After the Rangers get ambushed and his brother is killed, he is determined to seek justice.

From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the filmmaking team behind the blockbuster "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, the thrilling action-comedy film follows native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) and John Reid, a man of the law, who is transformed into a legend of justice. The two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption, taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction.

In another promotional effort, "The Lone Ranger" took part in CinemaCon on Wednesday, April 17. Depp made a surprise appearance at the panel, joined by co-star Hammer as well as Verbinski and Bruckheimer on stage. "Armie is very tall. Which means we aren't short.," Depp joked about his co-star before unveiling 20 minutes of footage of the movie.

Also supported by Tom Wilkinson, Ruth Wilson, Helena Bonham Carter and more in the cast ensemble, the adventure movie is set to hit U.S. theaters on July 3.
