The Biebs may have disappointed his Beliebers in Muscat, Oman but he made more Dubai fans happy instead.

AceShowbiz - Citing an "overwhelming regional demand" for a second show in Dubai as the reason, Justin Bieber's concert in the open city will get an additional May 5 tour date. Sadly, however, the announcement came just after the 19-year-old entertainer was forced to cancel his forthcoming May 6 show in Muscat, Oman.

"Believe" world tour promoter, Alive Entertainment, issued the official statement announcing the changes. Although it carried no clear indication as to the reason why the Oman tour date is scrapped, it's possible that the second Dubai show may have caused the cancellation of the Oman gig.

The assumption comes from what promoters have advised ticketholders of the Oman show as to how they are supposed to proceed following the cancellation. Fans who already bought tickets to the Oman concert have been advised that they can either get a refund or use their tickets to catch the newly-added May 5 concert in Dubai instead.

The Oman concert cancellation comes more than a month after Bieber called off his Lisbon, Portugal show while on the European leg of his world tour purportedly due to "unforeseen circumstances." Reports said The Biebs and his crew pulled the plug on the show due to low ticket sales following a public almost-breakdown that included a spat with a paparazzo, an onstage health scare and being busted out of a London night club during his 19th birthday celebration.
