The April 14 headliners wowed the crowd as they braved strong winds on a dusty Day 3 of Coachella's first weekend.

AceShowbiz - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Red Hot Chili Peppers backed by East coast hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan rocked Day 3 of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2013 in Indio, California this past Sunday, April 14. The two headlining acts braved freezing winds and a blinding sandstorm as they managed to pull off their respective sets to triumphantly wrap up the first weekend of the music festival.

"I feel like I'm in 'Lawrence of Arabia'," frontman Anthony Keidis joked to which bassist Flea chimed in with "I feel like I'm in the Dust Bowl with Woody Guthrie." Within the wise cracks, the Chili Peppers did not relent to the unfortunate situation, with drummer Chad Smith pounding ever more loudly on his percussion set while newest band member Josh Klinghoffer played his guitar riffs to the group's hits such as "Californication" and "Under the Bridge".

Meanwhile, Wu-Tang Clan, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut studio album "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)", performed their singles "Protect Ya Neck", "Bring Da Ruckus" and "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By", a song they recorded with hip-hop/R 'n' B diva Mary J. Blige featuring rapper Method Man. "We didn't expect a mother****in' sandstorm," remarked the group's leader RZA.

Other top acts who also performed during "Blowchella" were third headliners The Lumineers, Vampire Weekend, Pretty Lights, Bad Seeds, Dead Can Dance, Dinosaur Jr., Paul Oakenfold, Social Distortion and Tame Impala.
