The 'Spring Beakers' star gives an Eastern-inspired first live performance of her new single at Sunday's awards.

AceShowbiz - Young pop star Selena Gomez performed her new single "Come & Get It" for the first time live onstage at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards Sunday night, April 14 at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California. The 20-year-old entertainer debuted the much-anticipated song just a couple of weeks ago, earlier than its scheduled release date as it got leaked online.

In a deep red, Bollywood-inspired outfit, Gomez led the band and more than a few back-up dancers in giving the viewers their best take on a taste of Eastern music and dance culture. Wild-haired and bare-footed, the singer/actress channeled "Arabian Nights" for her performance as she mashed up Arabic, Indian, and even Thai dancing into her special number during the star-studded awards ceremony.

Despite being nervous about performing the song live for the first time that night, as Gomez revealed during the rehearsals, she managed to pull off the simultaneous song-and-dance number. The Disney-bred star is also obviously trying to pull away from her once innocent and demure image into a more mature and sexier one, which she surprised fans with in her latest flick "Spring Breakers".

Hours before singing "Come & Get It", during the red carpet pre-show, Gomez strutted in a gold mini dress, with long sleeves and a short hemline to show off the petite star's legs and sexy frame. Then minutes before her special performance, the young talent was introduced by the very pregnant Kim Kardashian who managed to sneak in the presenter gig as she continues her unwanted battle with the bulge while carrying her and Kanye West's first child.
