Everyone Sings Taylor Swift's '22' in New Diet Coke Ad

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer's first Diet Coke ad featuring her single, '22', was released during 'American Idol' on Thursday.

AceShowbiz - Coca-Cola debuted Taylor Swift's first commercial for Diet Coke on Thursday, April 11. The country singer took to Twitter to promote it. She wrote, "The Diet Coke commercial! Check it out- it airs tonight tonight during Idol." The ad features Taylor and her hit single, "22".

Dubbed "Music That Moves", the 30-second ad shows Taylor composing the lyrics of the song in some occasions while sipping Diet coke. The video also gives a look at the effect of the song on a lot of people, including someone who's driving in his car, a cook in a restaurant and a group of youngsters.

Taylor signed on with Diet Coke back in January. "I've said for years that Diet Coke just 'gets me' and my lifestyle," the 23-year-old star said in statement at that time. "I'm so excited about our new partnership."

"Taylor is a true artist, deeply involved in the full creative process, from writing to production to release," said Stuart Kronauge, General Manager, Sparkling Beverages, Coca-Cola North America in a release. "The commercial serves as a peek behind the curtain at an extraordinary day in the life of a true American superstar."

Taylor's ad comes a week after Beyonce Knowles's commercial for Pepsi. In her video, the wife of Jay-Z dances in front of a three-way mirror with three images of her from "Bootylicious", "Single Lady" and "Crazy in Love".
