Mandarin Offers Tony Stark Tough Choices in Sneak Peek of 'Iron Man 3' Clip

The full clip of the Shane Black-directed film will be premiered at 2013 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, April 14.

Tony Stark and Mandarin are getting engaged in a psychological war in a sneak peek of "" new preview. After Stark sends his archenemy a threat through "a holiday greeting" in an impromptu press conference, Mandarin responds it back with a death threat as seen in the short preview.

The sneak peek only features a monologue from the Mandarin, a brilliant scientist and a virtually unbeatable skilled martial artist whose power comes from his ten rings. The villain, portrayed by Sir , coldly asks Tony Stark a difficult question to answer, "I'm gonna offer a choice. Do you want an empty life or a meaningful death?"

The full clip of the film about the armored superhero is slated to air at 2013 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, April 14. Meanwhile, the film itself will hit U.S. theaters on May 3.

The sequel to "" focuses on brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man who will meet an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible.

Directed by Shane Black, "Iron Man 3" stars as Tony Stark/Iron Man and as Pepper Potts. Additionally, , , Dale Dickey, Ashley Hamilton, and are included in the cast ensemble of the Marvel movie, which is penned by Black and Drew Pearce.
