The former '30 Rock' star is reportedly in early talks to join the Peacock's late-night lineup, possibly taking the 1:35 A.M. slot which is currently occupied by Carson Daly's 'Last Call'.

AceShowbiz - Alec Baldwin could return to NBC after his show "30 Rock" ended its run on the network last January. Various reports say there have been conversations between the actor and the Peacock about him hosting a late-night show.

The New York Times, which first reported the news, learned from sources that Baldwin's show would likely land on 1:35 A.M. slot which is currently occupied by "Last Call with Carson Daly". "People have been impressed with his radio podcast series and have thought about him for these opportunities," a source told E! News.

Even before NBC officially announced that Jimmy Fallon would replace Jay Leno as "The Tonight Show" host, there had been speculation about who would fill the 12:30 A.M. slot, currently occupied by "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon". Previous rumors said "Saturday Night Live" head writer Seth Meyers was the frontrunner to replace Fallon.

NBC declined to comment on the issues, though a source familiar with the situation claimed it's not true that Baldwin would host a late-night show on the network.
