The Fantine of 'Les Miserables' is reportedly expected to share screen with 'Magic Mike' hunk Matthew McConaughey.

AceShowbiz - Anne Hathaway is reuniting with Christopher Nolan in her first science-fiction movie. Fresh off her critically-acclaimed supporting role in "Les Miserables", she is in the final stage to be tapped by the director of "The Dark Knight Rises", where she portrays Catwoman, to play one of the key roles in "Interstellar".
According to Deadline, the project was first brought up in 2006 by Steven Spielberg after he was intrigued by Caltech physicist and relativity expert Kip S. Thorne's theory that wormholes exist and can be used for time travel. The "Lincoln" helmer then left and was replaced by British filmmaker Chris in January this year.
Jonathan Nolan, Chris' brother, was already signed by Steven to write the script when the "Inception" director came aboard, which made it easy for them to merge their ideas. Not only are they brothers but they also have worked together before including in Chris' first hit "Memento" and his two Batfilms.
The idea of this ambitious long-gestating project is reportedly to "depict a heroic interstellar voyage to the farthest borders of our scientific understanding." Matthew McConaughey, who has already got back in shape after shedding weight for his role as HIV positive Ron Woodroof in "The Dallas Buyer's Club", is allegedly cast as the male lead.
