While RiRi was on tour, her house was swarmed by cops after someone placed an alarming call about a home invasion.

AceShowbiz - Rihanna becomes the latest victim in a series of swatting pranks after P. Diddy, Paris Hilton and the Kardashian family were targeted in the similar hoax emergency calls this year. On April 4, police officers came rushing to her house in Los Angeles after they received a distressed call giving a bogus tip about a home invasion.

The Los Angeles Police Department informed E! News that someone called 911 Thursday shortly after 3 P.M. The caller alarmed the cops saying that there were 2 armed men at RiRi's residence and a person in the singer's Pacific Palisades house got shot. The officers found nothing happened though, upon their arrivals on the scene.

RiRi was not present when the incident happened. She was miles away hitting the road for "Diamonds World Tour" to support her seventh studio album "Unapologetic". She just performed at KeyArena in Seattle on April 3 and will head to San Jose for a live show at HP Pavilion on Monday. She is expected to finish the tour in October.

Earlier this week after news broke out that Diddy was targeted by swatting prankster(s), TMZ reported that the hackers who exposed celebrities' personal data including their social security numbers and credit card info confessed they were the mastermind behind the debacle.

Now having a new website with domain extension .re, they allegedly also took credit for the other pranks targeting Hilton, Kardashian, Tom Cruise, Chris brown and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. They added "swatted" next to Hilton's and Diddy's names.

FBI has launched investigation into the matter, but no arrest has been made so far. The list of celebrities who got their personal info including their addresses exposed continues to grow. Hilary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Beyonce Knowles, Lady GaGa, Kim Kardashian, Anderson Cooper are among them.

Late last year, a 12-year-old boy was arrested in connection to the swatting prank involving the homes of Ashton Kutcher and Justin Bieber.
