The Harajuku Barbie will release a commercial ad featuring comedian DeRay Davis to hype up the newly-launched Pink Pill speaker.

AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj might have changed her outlandish style into a more normal look, as she said to MTV, but pink is definitely still her favorite color. The rapstress is teaming up with Dr. Dre's Beat Electronics to launch a limited edition of Pill portable wireless Bluetooth speaker.

"I am so excited about this product. It's something I actually use," said Nicki. "It's a little tiny speaker that I can travel with yet the sound is incredibly loud and rich. I knew the Barbz would not only love it, but that they'd want it in pink! So, here ya go Barbz!!!! My PINK PILL!"

The Pink Pill goes on sale for $199 at AT&T retail stores nationwide and online. A commercial ad will premiere during "American Idol", where Minaj is currently sitting on the judging panel, next Wednesday, April 10. In a teaser, she's seen sharing screen with comedian DeRay Davis.

The "High School" rhymer is not the only Young Money/Cash Money family member who hooks up with Beats by Dr. Dre. Her former mentor Lil Wayne has previously collaborated with the "Detox" rapper to sell a special red edition of the hugely-popular speaker line.

Minaj was often spotted rocking honey-colored long hair in these past days than wearing her wild wigs like she did in the beginning of her career. It's apparently part of her strategy to look more "relatable" before she expands her business ventures that include creating a clothing line.

That might explain the female rapper's decision to part ways with her hair stylist. Both parties cited "creative differences" as the reason of their split. "Towards the end of last year I just wanted to have a more natural look, and that's what I was explaining to my team," she told MTV.

"I knew that I was about to start doing covers of magazines and I wanted a more relatable look. I knew that I was about to launch a clothing line and I want women to know that I'm just a regular woman and I'm not some weirded-out character all the time."
