The Rolling Stones to Go on Short 9-City Tour

The English rock band announced on Wednesday, April 3 the North America leg of their '50 and Counting' tour.

AceShowbiz - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee The Rolling Stones announced on Wednesday, April 3 that they were set to embark on the North America leg of their "50 and Counting" tour. The U.S. and Canada trek will take frontman Mick Jagger, guitarist Keith Richards, drummer Charlie Watts and guitarist Ronnie Wood on a short, 9-city stop including a date in Toronto, Canada.

The band will kick off their tour at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, with the exact date still to be determined depending on the NBA/NHL playoffs. They will then perform at Oakland's Oracle Arena on May 5 and the HP Pavilion in San Jose on May 8 before their May 11 show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The quartet will also play at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on May 15 before flying to Toronto for their Air Canada Center concert on May 25. This will be followed with a show at the famed United Center in Chicago, Illinois on May 28 before winding down to their June 12 Boston show at TD Garden and finally wrapping up at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on June 18.

Former band mate, guitarist Mick Taylor, who was part of the great rock and roll band between the years 1969 through 1974, will be the a special guest throughout the duration of the tour. Right after the nine shows, the Stones will then proceed to headline the Glastonbury Festival on June 29 before performing at London's Hyde Park on July 6.
