The former '7th Heaven' star and her husband, Michael Cameron, become parents for the first time after welcoming a healthy baby girl on Thursday, March 28.

AceShowbiz - Beverley Mitchell and Michael Cameron are officially mom and dad after the 32-year-old actress gave birth to their first child Kenzie Lynne Cameron on Thursday, March 28. The baby girl was born in Santa Monica, California and weighed in at 5 lbs., 15 oz and measured 18.5 inches.
"We have fallen instantly in love and can't wait to be the best parents we can to our beautiful little angel," Mitchell told PEOPLE. "Thank you for all the love and well wishes. Mom, Kenzie and Dad are settling in perfectly!"
Friend of Mitchell's, Kaley Cuoco, took to twitter on Monday, April 1 to congratulate the new parents. "@beverleymitchel congratulations!!!!!!!!!! So exciting!!!!!" she wrote.
Kenzie is the first child for the pair who have been married for four-and-a-half years. Mitchell announced her pregnancy in November 2012, shortly after celebrating her fourth wedding anniversary. Ever since, she had been busy preparing for parenthood, including celebrating her baby shower in February and sharing her pregnancy photos.
In a March interview, Mitchell shared her feelings about becoming a mom. "The thing I am most excited about in becoming is seeing the world through new eyes, seeing this new little person experience things I may take advantage of and fall in love all over again," she said.
"I can't wait to see her interact with my husband and I am sure I will fall even more madly in love with him than I already am. It is an incredible thing when your life becomes less about you and more about another and I can't wait," she added.
